Jocelyn Mackenzie was born with a musician’s heart and an artist’s hands. The Brooklynite is best known as drummer and co-lead vocalist for indie rock trio Pearl and the Beard. She is proud and eager to release her first solo pop EP “Unlovely” in 2016. Recently she collaborated with Emily Hope Price in her music directorial debut for Liz Hara and Spencer Lott’s theatrical puppet piece “All We Have Left.” She makes her living as a machine knitter (yes, really) but also at fashion styling, art direction, drawing and fabrication of all sorts of wacky art stuff. She will never stop creating.
