Puppet Playlist is a regular evening series of puppetry and music by some of New York’s most interesting puppeteers and singer-songwriters. Each show has a theme inspired by a musician or band. Each show features original puppet acts, alternating with live covers, based on the theme musician or band.
So far, almost every show we’ve done has sold-out, so be sure to reserve your ticket in advance.
Performers (and their work) have been seen all over New York, across the country, and throughout the world, on, off- and off-off-Broadway, at HERE Arts Center, Shakespeare in the Park, the Metropolitan Opera, FringeNYC, Lincoln Center, with Jim Henson Productions, and on both American and International TV.

Puppet Playlist is made possible in part by a generous grant from Heather Henson’s Puppet Slam Network.
Sinking Ship Productions, founded by Josh Luxenberg and Jon Levin, is a Brooklyn-based theater company dedicated to the unusual and the surprising. We often choose material that is not overtly theatrical, and take particular delight in finding unexpected ways to tell the story. We draw from a wide variety of techniques, including puppetry, object manipulation, music and movement, to create distinctly visual work.
The Tank is a non-profit arts presenter serving emerging artists engaged in the pursuit of new ideas and forms of expression. Our goal is to foster an environment of inclusiveness and remove the burden of cost from the creation of new work for artists launching their careers and experimenting within their art form.
